We are pleased to welcome you to HALT. Established over 30 years ago, our mission is to secure better value, access and accountability for consumers from the legal system. We are particularly concerned about the unfair use of Unauthorized Practice of Law (UPL) rules that shut out competition and are working to change UPL laws and promote consumers rights to use nonlawyer legal service providers.
